My Story

I genuinely believe I was put on this planet to help people be their best. To help them define and reach their goals - both business and personal.

It took me a while to figure this out. I started my career as an attorney at a top law firm. After a few unfulfilling years, I pivoted and became a brand strategist and, later, a marketing executive and entrepreneur. My experience is wide-ranging – from scrappy startups to world-class agencies to established global companies. I worked with many big names you know and a few you don’t. My pursuit of building and honing transferable skills has been a consistent thread in my career, so I was never caught flatfooted. It worked. I built a broad range of experiences with common traits of leadership, collaboration, and empathy.

Along the way, I discovered something important—a passion for coaching. I love helping people mired down in their careers or life get unstuck. Fast. Soon my friends, clients, and colleagues began approaching me for coaching in increasing numbers. They gave me positive feedback about how skilled I was at helping them. But why? Then it clicked.

My diverse career path is my secret sauce. It guides and fuels the unique perspective I bring to my clients. I’ve been in your shoes. I understand the challenges of leading teams and delivering results. While still enjoying your life.

I get it. You want success and fulfillment. To be authentic to who you really are. Me, too. Your team probably feels the same way.

I’m here to help.

“I don’t know what you said or how you did it but there has been a complete transformation. He is a new person. It’s night and day. A great success.”

Katy has made a huge difference in my daily life at work, with my child, and with my own mother. I am more accessible to others and have new tools that are now part of my daily life. The learnings are sticking! I couldn’t do it before because I didn’t know how and was too embarrassed about my behavior. Now, I am using the models and skills to manage myself in new ways as well as how I interact with my CEO and direct reports. Lastly, my co-workers are now asking me to mentor them and I’m using what I learned through Katy to do so.”
